I have a cat that I love and his name is Fargo.  Well, Fargo kitty has been diagnosed with heart failure. We’re going to get him on a medicine that will help his enlarged heart. The heart failure has caused some fluid to build up outside his lungs, which is the reason for his heavy breathing. The good news is that his kidneys are fine, and he is otherwise healthy. Today’s treatment was $1000 and he’ll need another couple treatments like this before the month is up. I know some people will think it’s crazy that I’d spend this much on a cat, but I don’t have any kids, and I think it’s already been established that I’m nuts for cats.
